About us
Modern life can be fast paced, pressurised and stressful.
We want to help ease some of that stress by providing creative legal solutions to you that will allow you to get on with other things.
But we also understand that our clients are individuals, with individual needs. We are aware that there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution. We will take the time to listen to your requirements and try to work with you to ensure that those requirements are met in a clear and concise manner.

That means that we will return telephone calls as quickly as we practically can. It means that we will try to facilitate you on appointment times and it means that we will spend the time to listen to you and your requirements to come up with creative solutions to your legal requirements.
Our offices are conveniently located in on Eustace Street, part of Temple Bar in the centre of Dublin, just a five minute walk from the St. Stephen's Green and Jervis Street LUAS stops and Fleet Street Car Park and a 10 minute walk from Tara Street DART Station.

Meet the Team
Chris van der Lee
Chris is the principal and founder of our firm. He qualified with a Law Degree from the University of London in 1993 and then trained as a Solicitor with Rutherfords Solicitors in Dublin. After a year working in Australia, Chris returned to Dublin and joined Sheehan and Company, Solicitors in 1999 and worked with them for almost ten years, before setting up Chris van der Lee & Associates in 2009.
Chris's many areas of expertise include commercial and residential property, landlord and tenant, commercial work, wills and probate. Chris does lot of work with private clients and with SMEs and start-ups.
Chris is a former tutor in the Law School of the Law Society. He is a member of the Law Society and of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
Chris ran a marathon (once - but never again!) and takes part in the annual Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle. Chris's father and great-grandfather were Solicitors too - and coincidentally both worked for a time on Eustace Street during their careers.
Andrew Keane
Andrew was entered onto the Roll of Solicitors in January, 2015 having trained as a Solicitor with S Duffy & Co. He joined Chris van der Lee & Associates in 2017.
Andrew handles most of our residential conveyancing work and has built up significant expertise in this area assisting both sellers and buyers and in particular first time buyers and investors. Andrew also has experience working in probate law, commercial conveyancing and preparing applications for Enduring Power of Attorney.
Andrew is a former chef who is passionate about cooking and playing/watching many sports including football, tennis, golf and snooker.
